How GAS handles your details.

This privacy notice explains how GAS handles the details you leave on this website.

When you book an assessment call we collect your first name, last name, company, mobile number, work email, how many people work in your company, the systems you need or want replaced, and the call window you choose. When you apply to partner we collect your name, firm, mobile number, work email, what your firm does and how many client companies you serve. We also record which advert or link brought you to the site.

We use these details to call you about your request, to send you the confirmation, the reminder and the link that opens your portal, and to prepare the call. Your details are handled by GAS, by any GAS partner who referred you, by the calling service that places the assessment call on GAS's behalf, by Postmark, the service that carries our emails, and by Cloudflare, which serves this site, checks that a form was sent by a person, and measures how fast the pages load without identifying you. If a GAS partner referred you, the partner may have given GAS your name and contact details first.

To see the details we hold about you, to correct them, to have them deleted, to object to our using them, or to withdraw your consent, email waymaker@gasecosys.co.za from the address you gave us. Withdrawing consent does not undo what GAS did before you withdrew it.

This website is run by Genesis Automation Systems (Pty) Ltd, registration number 2026/168864/07, 11 Hamerkop Rd, Van Riebeeckstrand, Melkbosstrand, Cape Town, 7441, trading as GAS.

You may also complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa, whose contact details, including its complaints address, are published at inforegulator.org.za.

Giving us your details is voluntary. Without them we cannot call you or open your portal. No law requires you to give them to us.

We keep the details of a request for 12 months after our last contact with you, and then delete them, unless you become a GAS client. We keep a client's records for the length of the relationship and for 7 years after it ends, because South African company and tax law require it.

This site runs on Cloudflare's network, which spans many countries, and our own records server is in [JP writes the country; ledger D-077]. Some of the services named above are outside South Africa. We send your details to them only under written terms that require protection equal to South African law, or with your consent.

This site stores two things on your device without asking: your answer to the advertising question at the top of the page, and the advert reference that brought you here, so that your booking can be attributed. If you accept advertising measurement, this site sends Meta, TikTok and Google which pages you visited and whether you booked. It sends them no name, email or number.
